I tried ordering one at a popular Texmex restaurant in an upscale suburb and they had zero idea what I was talking about. |
+1. I’ve mostly seen them in TX and CO. |
This is my first time hearing about "ranch water" but I've been making Spindrift vodkas for a while now and that seems like a better, cheaper version of Ranch Water. |
My husband loves ranch water. He orders it all the time. No one ever knows what it is. I tell him to just order vodka soda with lime like a normal person but he insists on ordering ranch water and then having to explain it. |
The term ranch water is a new thing. |
what’s so special about Topo Chico vs any other sparkling water for this drink? |
Yup ![]() |
Topo is bottled in Mexico? Perrier and S Pelle are Euro. Easier to find the small glass bottles of Topo as well. |
I have a friend who grew up in Texas, moved here over 20y ago and has always called it Ranch Water. |
Uh no. This has been a drink for years. But par for the course on DCUM to discover a thing that has existed for years and they think it’s new. |
It’s a mineral water. Not carbonated water like LaCroix etc. |
