I bet several GA clubs get MLS Next soon.
|
Nonsense. They made a very strategic move. On the girls side its GA or ECNL. They will draw talent in. I would be surprised if the current GA teams didn't move over to VR, especially the younger ages. Curious to see if they get MLS Next for the boys side. |
|
Good timing too since Girls' Academy was just approved to become a U.S. Soccer member. |
| Folks it looks like there’s some strong competition brewing |
MLSNext and GA are not partners. They are separate organizations. You keep looking for a link that just doesn’t exist. |
I don’t think that’s how it works. It was BRYCs membership a la Union and McLean. It wasn’t a newly accepted club that changed any numbers or dynamics for the MA region. |
| Yeah, BRYC existed in the ECNL. That year they were rumored to being on the verge of losing their national spot and then formed a joint venture with Vienna and formed Brave. |
| SYCs sending team will be in NL as well. |
Keep telling yourself that.
Whatever lets you sleep at night. |
| Also don't recall hearing of any ECNL national club being removed or replaced like how GA recently replaced Metro/ASA. |
Unless GA forms their own 2nd league. |
Yes that's what Metro thought as well. See how that turned out. |
Wouldn’t that be DPL? |
A lot of GA clubs exist there fielding 2nd teams but not all. |
