| I’ve had AAA since I first got my license. I have no complaints. I’ve barely used it over the decades as I have reliable cars. The last time was for a flat tire. Still it’s worth it to me for the peace of mind especially traveling alone at night or on a road trip. I actually save a lot on travel (hotel and rental car) so that’s also something to consider. I don’t have it for my kids and husband anymore because it got expensive and the membership works on multiple cars. I can just meet up with whoever is broken down with the card. We also have Honda roadside included with our cars which I haven’t actually tried. |
| I've used my car outside and my insurance roadside, never paid for an additional service. I've had to call for tire and running out of gas. |
| We're a AAA family too. Response time can vary, but overall we've been happy for over 25 years. |
I should add that AAA can also do some MVA-type duties too, e.g., title transfers. We recently used them for that and it was easy. |
I'm in my 40s and still on my parents AAA account Just used it when my kids left a door open and the battery died when we were on vacation.

AAA does pretty nasty lobbying against public transit among other things.
I'd favor Better World Club for that reason (https://www.betterworldclub.net/our-story) |
