I would caution against this. When I rented a dress for a wedding they sent me three— the size I ordered and a size down and a size up. All 3 were too damaged to wear. |
Are there any local stores that sell dresses? My daughter wants to order online but I’d rather see them on her in person.
|
Wouldn't it need to be dry cleaned in between wears? Or do you just have the person renting it do this? Seems like that would cut into the profits a lot. |
Are you insane? |
1. $200 is a price point you will find is mostly see through lace. 2. OMG it's see through lace. Come on OP do better. |
i WOW. That is a rude comment. If a person makes $100 a day/hour and wants to spend that on their child, fine. if someone else want to spend their $1000 daily/hourly wage on their kid that is fine too. we all have different budgets, priorities, values, expenses, salaries, etc. it’s all relative. |
What was the boutique? Would love to go dress shopping with mine! We’ve never done that. She buys all her clothes at target so I feel like I have a big excess in my clothing budget for her. 4 years of HS and she’s never had a dress that cost more than $60 so if she wants to splash out on this, I’m okay with it. She’s so frugal she’ll probably just pick the cheapest. |
My daughter got hers last year at 2 the 9s - Montgomery Mall |
Nah. $1000 is too much for a dress for a kid. It teaches them really bad spending habits. |
Not a brag we are into clothes shopping. I get why other people wouldn’t want to spend so much or even think to spend hours looking |
How much was your wedding dress and how much will you budget for DD’s, say in 10 years but today’s prices? |
Deja Vu is where you go to get your senior's prom dress. Juniors can go to Macys

My wedding dress was borrowed from my cousin. |
I'd spend many hours looking but I would never spend that much on a dress for a one time use except a wedding dress. |
