Relationship Discussion (non-explicit)
| Same dorm in college |
| airport |
How does this work? I was always intrigued when I would make eye contact in the airport with someone attractive during my frequent travels. Do you ask for an email? How do you get the courage to talk to them? People seem so annoyed in the airport; I always used to feel embarrassed when I was "caught" looking at a male fellow traveler. I understand striking up a convo on the airplane but I could never get it right logistically before boarding. |

lol the same! I think he hates to admit he met me through match.com because it seems he wasn't able to find and conquer someone just going out...or I don't know... |

We were neighbors. I was in the process of getting a divorce from my first husband, and he was in the process of getting married when we met. I became friends with his wife as well. I attended their wedding. We drove to work together for 3 years, watched movies on the weekends, went out to dinner, celebrated our birthdays together. They divorced 3 yrs. later, due to her cheating. One night, about 2 years after his divorce, we decided to have sex after we watched a movie and the rest is history.
He's my best friend, lover, father of my children, and I love the life I have with him. It was definitely fate that brought us together. It's very surreal. |

online. his first online date (lucky)... my 15th (i had to endure some boring dates to get to dh). for a while we felt a bit embarrassed to tell people but now that we've been together so long, its just a funny story and we know so many other people who have met online that its not so strange sounding anymore.
