Paint color for a large, windowless basement

don't use white in a room with no natural light, it will look depressing.

If I were you, I would use a deep color that you love. I did this in our den, and its a dark blue with a slightly greenish tone, like a dark dark torquiose. we all LOVE it and when people sit in the room they ooh and ahh.

This actually looks nice and gives a cozy feel even if dark.

Whatever color you pick, highly recommend getting several lamps or sconces and putting
The overhead lights off or on a dimmer. That will make a huge difference in a big basement room.

We did mayonnaise, but we also had lots of bookshelves and other stuff to break up the walls.
