On the self-loathing front I went to school with the daughter of a celebrity dermatologist and he didn't have vitiligo. He just wanted to bleach his skin.

He had a multitude of issues. And was self loathing as well, I’m sure. But he did have vitiligo. It is a known treatment when people have a severe case of it. It is an illness that is associated with depression and is really hard for self esteem. Don’t just share trash to do it.

I'm no fan of his-but he was those kids' father. Regardless of biology. They loved him and he loved them. The Jacksons are their extended family (grandmother and cousins and aunts/uncles). It really doesn't matter what color the kids are or are not.

He did have vitiligo. It starts with the hands and it’s why he started wearing one glittery glove in the Thriller era . There are pictures where his hand has white spots like a spotted cow . He had to wear tons of makeup to hide the white spots on his neck and face and it was becoming tiresome to do so while touring as he’d sweat off the makeup while doing the show. He also had a severe burn incident while shooting a Pepsi commercial where his hair caught on fire and he almost died. He decided to just go ahead and bleach his entire body white instead of wearing brown foundation all the time that would sweat out on stage and show his spotting .

Letoya Jackson had vitiligo as well and is as pale as MJ despite being brown as a kid, but this story is never brought up because it’s not as scandalous as it being as simple as MJ wanting to be white

You can’t possibly say that. Her biological mom is white, and genetics are funny. One of my best friends and neighbors is black, husband is white, and their daughter is whiter than my very white kids. Straight light brown hair, blue eyes, pale skin. Her siblings both definitely look black or at the very least mixed. I’ve known the family long before kids, girl is definitely fully biologically her parents, they are as perplexed as anyone about how it all works out!

OMG how can anyone be so ignorant do they not know any people of color or biracial/mixed folks?!

I’m Asian with biracial Asian/white kids and tons of friends with biracial kids. It’s totally random how kids turn out. Some look full one race, other the other race, some with traits of both. The more mixed ancestries a person has, the more random it gets. Like Meghan Markle and Harry’s kids being redheads even though she’s half black.

Biracial girls tend to look more white than biracial boys. Halsey, Rashida Jones, Mariah Carey, Meghan Markle, Sofia Richie, Donna Summers daughters .. they also all have brown eyes .

Paris has blue eyes. The more extreme Michael fans think it’s possible because Joe Jackson had green eyes . Other fans then say that’s impossible as Paris inherited blue eyes not green and then they go back and forth bashing each other. It’s quite amusing .

I think he hid the kids in blankets because he didn’t want to answer the media’s questions about whether they were his bio kids. It’s sad if he really went to this extreme because he hated the way he looked or didn’t want to pass down his vitiligo . I really wonder if that’s the reason Latoya didn’t have bio kids either . I am not sure how painful vitiligo is but it is somewhat noble I guess as most people don’t care what conditions they can genetically pass on and still have kids

Paris has blue eyes. There is exactly 0 chance the biological daughter of Michael would have blue eyes.
