I know this is super obvious, but why did Jackson not Father kids?

Was it really deep self-loathing? More of a Angelina Jolie - collecting beautiful people?

On the self-loathing front I went to school with the daughter of a celebrity dermatologist and he didn't have vitiligo. He just wanted to bleach his skin.

Maybe he didn't want to pass on his skin condition to a child. He didn't want a child to have to go through the stuff he went through or to be mocked for having weird pigmentation splotches.
