Arlington is $3k for Academy level teams, including uniforms, not including team fees and non-mandatory uniform (and clearly hotels, etc)

McLean is 3k, not including tournament fees.

I think they are all about the same. Bethesda is $3500 including everything.

This Bethesda quote is club fees + uniforms?

Bethesda uniform kit, including mandatory crocs was almost $700 this year

depends on what you get. mine wasn't $700 and they don't require you to purchase a new bag.

Not in uniform year. Bethesda was closer to 4k this year.

Is this real or sarcasm?

Not PP but somewhat. There were mandatory slides that were overpriced and ugly. I don’t know if they actually charged the people who didn’t buy them. They said they were going to charge you whether you got them or not.

That puts the PAY in Pay-to-play

Is Tony Soprano the TD?

ECNL fees were $3245 which covers all tournaments and coaches travel. No added fees/bills for tournaments/travel like other clubs.$3265 with the added speed and agility sessions the club added in this winter. Uniform was $500 unless you bought optional gear.

This is also what we paid at Bethesda for ECNL. Uniforms are expensive, but I am sure that is the case at all these clubs. Are most clubs in the $400-$600 range for uniforms? Slides were a bad step

We lived in Amsterdam in 2018/19

My U12 son was on a 'Travel' club
The facilities had 4 fields, locker rooms, clubhouse and cafeteria.
We paid €300 for a year and that covered everything including travel for the players.
Kids who couldn't afford paid less or nothing.

It was painful coming home to the States and paying more than that just for uniforms

Probably why Holland has better players

Why is it painful? We have a different system here. Someone is paying for it; nothing is free. No club to help cover costs.

DP. It’s painfully obvious that travel sports are pay to play.

Tell me about it! Boy who is now U16 admitted he hasn’t found decent coach (one exception) that compared to his German coach. Super affordable.
I just hope American basketball players are giving it to Europe as good as ‘soccer loving’ diaspora is giving it to American families. Truly not worth it if you think about it.

$4,500 for regular season play and mandatory sleep away camp for 3 nights
$350 uniforms
$300 “strongly encouraged/expected winter futsol”
$2,000 travel expenses.

So $7,100? And she’s not even on the top team traveling the US. She’s on the second, regional team.
