This is a better solution unlike bidets, you can control water spray regularly wash it.

Peri-bottles of any kind are a better alternative than bidets. Very much easier to clean and can dry completely in between, preventing biofilm formation.

Ugh, the biofilm that can form in those attached bidets creeps me out. Same reason I don't use a hottub. Gross.

I'm sorry, I'm having a hard time picturing how I would use this on myself.

I have a bidet, and I love it. I've had it for more than 2 years now; no UTI. I wish I had it when I was on my period; I'm in menopause now.

I'm glad you are having a good experience. I'd rather minimize the spraying of anything I consider potentially gross or contaminated onto myself there, even if you can usually get away with it.

But we all have our quirks, and we all find different answers to our problems.

Whatever, you can pry my bidet from my cold dead hands. TMI, but my ADHD daughter has terrible wiping habits (yes we work on it!) and she has had many fewer issues since we got the bidet. I use a washcloth to pat dry after.

Probably better than plain paper. However, if you've water then you can also use liquid soap if you want though probably its overkill most of the time.

I got a bidet attachment off amazon got horrible UTI's and a VERY BAD kidney infection finally my gyno was like are you using a bidet? Stop using it it just sprays fecal matter around. NOT ONE UTI (knock on wood) since I removed and trashed my bidet. NEVER EVER again.

AND FYI I sprayed it with lysol and cleaned it all the time.

I realize this is not sophisticated, but my in Pakistan they just use a water bucket with a spout and you use tp after. It works fine.
