Are Roadside Assistance memberships worth it?

Depends. I have a Mercedes, and they will come and change tires, etc for free. I assume most other luxury brands have the same type of service.

Also, my auto reduced roadside benefits recently, free tow only up to 15 miles now. Also, it wont cover a rental. So, if I was planning a cross country trip I’d probably get a AAA membership.

AAA covers rentals?
Can you combine AAA with hotel loyalty status?

AAA has kind of weird politics. More geared towards sprawl than to our environment.

Same for our new Tahoe. Just push the On*Star button by the interior lights and they call free General Motors roadside for you.

The last few times I went to the DMV I made an appt and didn't wait at all. One was even a pop up DMV in the local library.
