I don’t have the capacity for friendships

I think you should tell the 1 friend in the group what is going on so they can help manage expectations.

I also think you should see your friend 1x every 3 months… that’s 4x this year.

Reassess next year.

I won’t see my friend all Spring because I travel every weekend. People know it’s not big deal.

I would also try to leave the door open if things might change once you are settled - Please know I value your friendship and hope to reconnect when it’s feasible.
