My life is busy and successful and I don't have time or energy to waste worrying about race hysteria when there are three other pharmacies within two blocks of that intersection and at least two more within walking distance.

F CVS and F all you Columbia Heights hating race baiters.

Who brought up race but you? You sound insane.

Didn’t you hear? They’re not insane. They’re busy and successful. And apparently have all the pharmacies on speed dial

CVS stores are all horrible I think they’re killing them on purpose through neglect so they can redo them with just pharmacies and pick up orders.

Yeah that’s it. It’s not the Council-sanctioned crime.

Who "kills a business on purpose through neglect"? Wouldn't you just downsize off the bat? This makes no sense.

Relax, Nadeau is staying on top of trash cans and providing access to the sales of stolen merchandise and safe spaces for drug addicts to get high.

Who needs a CVS?

As previously mentioned numerous times (perhaps reading isn't your strong suit), there's three other pharmacies within two blocks of this former CVS and two more within half a mile walking distance. Plus all the non-Rx crap available at that CVS is available across the street at Target. Stop crying over this crappy business and good riddance to the awful CVS at 14/Irving.

Is it all that you imagined?

Yes. People are animals. And stores have no recourse.

That is a racist statement.

I used to work at a big box store, and at one point my manager told me if they could guarantee no theft, prices would come down 30%. This was a while ago, so it’s probably more now.

Because your manager, who was basically you with five more years' experience, is familiar with the national corporation's accounts. Sure.

This is great news! Now they can put in a liquor store maybe?

These closings create “urban food deserts.”

But somehow blame trump for this lol.

I hate going to CVS and having to ask someone to unlock toothpaste for me, so I ordered from CVS online, and the website is terribly slow and everything is taking forever and half to arrive. CVS is doomed, and we're all going to be stuck with amazon dupes from China for our prescriptions.

The problem is not CVS. The problem is crime. No store is going to stay open if people steal all their shit. That entire area is going to way of Chinatown

This. Most of America live in areas where toothpaste does not have to be locked up at CVS.

I worked retail for awhile, and although I was certainly not "familiar with the national corporation's accounts" at my job, the amount of loss we suffered nationally and at our store individually was posted in our break room area every quarter. So this kind of thing can be relatively easy to deduce without access to all "accounts."
