I think you could get them there if you really wanted to. Your street might be icy, but I suspect you can easily walk to one that is not. |
This. |
The complete lack of problem solving is mind blowing. Damn. |
This!!!!! |
This is true. With two extra hours, I don’t see why you can’t walk to the bus stop? |
3-4 inches of snow doesn’t really need to be plowed. Most cars can handle it just fine if you go slowly |
NP but I had to work a normal work day today despite the kids going two hours late. I didn’t have that time off to spend walking to a bus stop. I think that’s a bizarre suggestion. |
So what would you do to go to work? That should be the same effort to get a kid to a hub bus stop. OP was being ridiculous. |
Cool, they do nothing but complain. Makes sense. |
No one cares is it’s excused or unexcused. OP just wanted to be difficult and think she was proving a point to the school. |
That sounds like a good deduction. No reason a healthy kid without mobility issues (which I will assume is the case here because OP didn't state any particular hurdles) couldn't manage to walk to a hub stop in two hours' time. I'm guessing OP typically drives child to hub stop every morning regardless of weather. Option school - this is part of the territory they chose. |
Maybe you don’t have time, but no, walking to a bus stop is not in slightest bit “bizarre.” |
What do you mean the hub stop "isn't walkable" from your home? Due to the weather? Or are you suggesting it isn't walkable regardless of weather. If weather, seriously? It's only a few inches of snow and, yes, some icy patches. With two extra hours to get there. What's the real problem here? |
Yes actually I have. You call and leave a message. You also email, including the Director, Your Principal and Teacher with the issue. You follow up until you get a response. Sitting back and making excuses accomplishes absolutely nothing. |
This is OP. I meant isn’t walkable in any weather. You have to cross a highway. I have always assumed APS transportation knows that it’s not walkable and intends for families to drive. |
