Was my mother gaslighting me? Was this some strange byproduct of a personality disorder?

This is weird but not gas lighting. Gas lighting is purposefully trying to make you feel like you're crazy. Two random incidents related to smell is clearly a her problem (very acute sense of smell? projecting some feeling onto some perceived smell) not some campaign to manipulate you into feeling like you're the crazy one. that would be much more extensive, consistent, and focused on getting you to do something.
