Just for a different perspective -- I gave up coffee for ~6 months due to a stomach issue. I usually drank 2-3 cups in the morning. I didn't notice any changes - no withdrawal headaches, no changes to alertness or sleep habits. I expected to feel like crud for a few days, but I was totally fine. I thought my sleep would improve. It stayed the same. I'm went back to drinking coffee on weekend mornings. |
