What’s your dream car?

I don’t know what it is but I want something with very little road noise (a little is fine for white noise to distract from my tinnitus), memory seats, heated seat and steering wheel, and all the latest safety features.

Yeah, I’m old and boring.

If money was no object, I'd either buy a full size truck or a full size SUV. Small, low to the ground cars don't appeal to me at all. If I was billionaire, you would never see me driving a Ferrari etc.

I would love the souped up version of the GLS. The AMG 63 or whatever it’s called. I have the mid range engine of the GLS with 510 hp, which is plenty fast, but going on an on ramp to the highway with 600 hp would be like a jet engine. I love fast cars, but like to be up high. I just can’t justify the price.

When my car broke down and I got it fixed, somebody had that exact car at the shop over there in district heights, md. Just sitting there broke down

Get a Tesla with free supercharging.

Tell me your generation without telling me your generation...

DP

What’s your point, exactly?

I’ll bet she can drive a manual. Can you?

I bet she’s a he, and I can drive a manual.

That would be my preliminary list. The ones I would want immediately.

I’ll take anything foreign off this list but get rid of all the Jeeps except the wrangler and I need that to be a Sahara

I don't have one, OP. I like small, cute cars (like Minis and Fiats), but the problem is, they don't have luxury fittings. I want a luxurious, small, cute car. Apparently I'm a market of one, because no one's making that.

My Honda Odyssey. I roll up to kiss and ride, push the automatic door button and yell “tuck and roll!” It never gets old. Also, my kids can’t slam my door into other cars, so you’re welcome for that too. SUV kids are savage with their doors. If you’re going to drive a massive SUV in a city with tiny parking spots, at least have the decency to keep your kids super skinny so they can squeeze out. Or maybe make sure they’re very flexible and can climb out the rear door.

Yes. I like the body design on most Lotus cars, and it has 4 doors, but it's not a "cute", hop into the car in the driveway to pick up milk at Whole Foods, sort of cute. Lotus is more like, weekend drive to the country, crisp sound of gravel when you arrive at your estate, tea and scones are ready.
