The CVS in Kensington had 20 mg dissolvable tablets in generic a few days ago.
|
| Bumping this - anyone have tips? Three members of my family take Vyvance and I am terrified we will run out. CVS says they haven't had it since December?! |
I tried to GoodRx coupon but CVS wouldn’t take it. I was not the one who picked it up and DH isn’t great at this stuff. Anyone else have problems with GoodRx? |
Call different CVS locations. We've driven to farther flung Walmarts to fill Ds' Vyvanse script. |
| Our doctor had to play around with the dosage in the script to work with the pharmacy’s supply that day — with our kid taking more pills/day at a lower dosage to get the full dose. Our pharmacy said otherwise the generic and brand were back ordered with no projected date of availability. It’s very difficult to deal with. GL. |
| I got 20mg chewable. |
| Try calling around to Safeways or smaller pharmacies. |
| Has anybody been able to get the brand filled through Express Scripts mail order recently? We’re due for a fill in 2 weeks. |
|
My order was immediately canceled by Express Scripts for out of stock. I'm out and haven't been able to take it which sucks.
Anyone find it somewhere recently? |
|
CVS (all I have tried) have not had generic since December
Brand available sometimes but $400. No coupons available for brand at this time. Try chewable generic. You need to ask your doctor for a different prescription for chewable. I have had intermittent luck finding generic chewable. |
| I was able to file an appeal with our insurance company (BCBS) to lower the price of the brand name, because the generic is unavailable. It’s not the same price as generic but they will process it as a preferred brand name rather than non-preferred. |
Brand or generic? |
|
Either! I think brand is easier to find |
|
Yes, regularly available through ExpressScripts.

| We didn’t have luck at Walgreens or CVS but found generic 40 mg at Safeway Great Falls a few weeks ago. You have to call around to each store individually but don’t limit just to the big pharmacies. |
