So, if the neighbor did not inform you ahead of time, oh well, you can still go chat and ask how long the work will be. 4 days? 4 weeks? That's a big difference.
What I don't get is neighbors that don't have a car and rarely get visitors and still annoyed that you temporarily park in front of their house that is not in the driveway.
Nobody notifies the neighbors. My nextdoor neighbor gutted his house and there have been contractors and trucks parked in front of our house for over a year. If they block the driveway, we asked them to move. Otherwise,
that is the price you pay for living in a desirable neighborhood.
