| Ugh, maybe 3. |
|
Just added up. 82. Some were fast procedurals/mass market, others took more time.
I don’t sleep well, so I read a lot. |
| Not sure but I’ve read 5 so far in December and plan to get to 10 before the end of the month. |
| On track for 250. Yes, I work. But I don’t watch TV or have social media behind an Instagram I look at a couple times a day. So, books! |
| I got a Libby app this year according to that, I have read/listened to roughly 40 new books. I remember 5 other new books I bought/got hard copies of. And in the last month I have reread 7 books so probably put the reread count of books I own around 50 (rounding down). So I guess about 100 books for 2023? It’s nice to be reading again — I have toddlers and for a few years there I feel like I never had the time/focus to read anything. |
| I’m at 44 right now which is the most I’ve read in years - I struggled to get through 14 last year. |
| Currently at 55 and hope to finish out the year with 58. Last year I read 36. I also listen to several daily podcasts so no inclination to take on audio books. |
|
I'm at 94 and I think I'll get to 100 this year! I do work full time and have two teens, but I don't watch tv or do much internet scrolling.
I read a few audiobooks, but otherwise all print/kindle. A mix of classics, nonfiction, contemporary literature, and a few mysteries and historical fiction. I track my books on goodreads and librarything |
20 This thread is shaming me!!
|
| 134. I expect to get to 140. |
Def closer to 20 than 100 - but I've gotta say, there is some GREAT television on these days |
| On track for 36-38. Which is almost half of what I usually read, but I have a larger position at work, and a new board position in the community, in addition to everything else. Something had to decrease. |
| 30/40 audio books |
|
Oh gosh, not nearly as many as I wished. I have become a distracted and plodding reader. I would say about 12-15.
I have started and put down many more (Tom Lake, River of Gods, various others). I don’t do audible books, and I don’t consider that reading. To me, that’s like listening to a podcast - easy and enjoyable to do, and it takes very little work on behalf of the listener. Reading a real book takes a bit more work! |

According to Goodreads I’m at 107 now. Probably at least 2-3 more by end of the year.
That’s mostly because I read rather than watch tv as my relaxation, and I mostly read light and fluffy books rather than heavy fiction or nonfiction. It’s my escape, and it’s far easier to plow through beach read types of novels than more quality literature. |
