Why am I so famished today?

Mix a tablespoon of peanut butter into your oatmeal. Oatmeal is a fantastic breakfast and very healthy. But it lacks fats, oils, and protein. A tablespoon of peanut butter balances it out by adding fat.

When I get this way-- inexplicably hungry, I look to up my fat and protein but not calories. So skip snacks or whatever you might normally eat in terms of carbs, and add more fat and protein at meals until it levels out.

Oatmeal + PB is a good option
Low carb bread, toasted with avocado spread and an egg is a GREAT option.

Stay away from anything labeled low fat until this goes away. If you try to fix this with carbs, you're going to eat a lot and your stomach will still yell at you.

You probably just didn’t eat enough calories or fat the day before or maybe even for a few days before. When I get like this I make sure to have a few tablespoons of peanut butter thru the day in addition to whatever I’m eating. IDK why but for me that works better than just snacking on nuts.
