Batteries are 2032 batteries, so very replaceable. They do run out in about 6 months so need to be replaced reasonably frequently.

We primarily use them on luggage. My DCs love them and have them on lots of things - purses, keys, dog, wallets, etc.

In carjack-crazy DC, your definitely should put one in your vehicle. Like--a must.

We have them in our luggage when we travel, in the kid's backpack at school, and in my husband's laptop bag (in case it gets stolen)

Does anyone else find it a bit creepy that Apple is using your device for other purproses? I mean it is no secret that we are trackable through our cells, but it is weirder to me that Apple has decided my phone can be used for other purposes at their discretion.
