That's good to know. We may wind up there since neither of us have been, and going south instead of north is certainly appealing from a weather perspective. |
I wasn't the biggest fan of Montreal, though would go back to Quebec City, but it adds a time/expense factor... something to consider though. |

| Providence/Newport in RI are fun, and it gets warm a little earlier there than in Montreal or Portland. |

Newport is more upscale with lots of shopping and restaurants. Portland reminds me more of a mini Baltimore. A little gritty but I loved it! Not sure older people would, though. |
