What are the right's plans for housing affordability?

Why do you think millennials and gen z are any different from other generations? People want the same option to raise a family with a house that has a yard that their parents and grandparents had. Saying we need density means that things are on the downturn and they should lower expectations of being even as well of as their parents, not better off like every prior generation was raised to expect. ThHat's a tough sell

Who says everyone wants to live in a house with a yard and white picket fence? The land use in the US, particularly the suburbs, is the most inefficient possible. Car dependent, have to drive to schools even. The costs also include things like yard maintenance etc. For many people, having access to playgrounds and local woods like Rock Creek are far more valuable. The bigger point is that people should have options. The democrats support land use and transportation policies that give people those choices.

I.e. most will only be able to afford to live in a smaller house than their parents and with less green space to raise their family and we'll pretend that's progress. We'll also pretend there are options because with enough money (i.e. more than most in gen z will be able to accumulate) you can have what your parents could easily afford. Where do I sign up to ring doorbells spreading such a hopeful platform?

Then ban AirBnB and corporate purchases of single family homes.

Good luck getting that through the libertarian wing of the GOP.

I agree there’s a housing crisis in some areas of the country. The fed can’t fix that, but it colors people’s view of the economy. People tend to be very irrational about the economy, and are likely to base it off their feelings of that last few years, which includes the uncertainty then inflation after the economic disaster of 2020. I don’t know how anyone expected to come out of that unscathed. Very few are willing to accept that this was the best case scenario.

The global migration is going to affect the election.

Abortion is on the ballot in 5 states, including Arizona and Nevada.

Vision on the left: everyone makes room for hordes of hungry (literally and figuratively) people by giving up SFH, quality of public education, public safety, cleanliness of the streets, etc.
overall compromising quality of life of the middle class to make sure low income people live a good life. Everyone is happy about trans rights, DEI, and the like.
We will sponsor wars if it fits us.

Vision on the right: white men above all. People who have a lot keep all or most of it. The rest need to claw out of their circumstance if they can. If they can’t, too bad.
Good old days are here to stay.
We won’t sponsor wars because it doesn’t really fit us.

I had au pairs from 2005 - 2016 and worked for an au pair company. Your claim is hogwash. Congress has been wanting to do away w/ au pair for years by raising pay for au pairs. It had something to do with a GOP ask in the Farm Bill. There was a big To Do around in 2017 asking families to write to Congress. Also, the State Dept has been looking at the program and how host families abuse the au pairs. Over work then threaten deporting/kicking them out of program if they tell.

Yes, the program is great if you have the extra room to host someone. Sucks if it were to end but don’t blame Biden.

I’d reframe that slightly. Directly or indirectly, our freedoms are on every ballot. If 50% of the nation isn’t free to make decisions about our own bodies, we cease to be a country of free citizens.

The economy is doing great for some but it is terrible if you’re not rich. I wish rich people would leave their luxury bubbles. I travel and have family that is struggling. While the economy is working really well for me, I’m not the average American. Once the Democrats start on this message, they will get more votes.
