| Is this quote for multiple phases? My son just started his second phase of braces. For reference, DS just started in a full set of braces with an ortho in Bethesda for $6,500. But, I paid $4,000 several years ago for his phase 1 treatment (palate expander and partial braces). |

Yes Just paid $3k for expander and phase 1 braces at an Arlington ortho who isn’t known for being cheap. |

| Dr. Tran in Wheaton but he's pricy too but not that pricy. That seems really high but it depends on what is being done, but excessively high. We interviewed a bunch of orthodontists. Some were cheaper, some not but Dr. Tran had us come in monthly vs. every 6-8 weeks and his staff is fantastic. He also made emergency appointments almost always available. |

With three kids at once it might be worth it but we had to go in multiple times for emergencies and monthly. |
