Horrible people in real life
Bill Murray Bill Cosby |
You were surprised that he wasn't Mormon or Muslim? |
I've heard Chevy Chase is also terrible to meet in person, as is Madonna. |
| Some loathed celebs and politicians will charm and thaw your cold heart upon meeting them. |
Someone can be a good person and a heavy drinker. You seem...naive. |
|
Before the earth cooled, I worked in morning radio and was a fan of Mark and Brian out in LA.
Had a chance to meet them at a radio conference and they were both total a—holes! They had totally been my heroes. |
+1 Alec Baldwin for me. I was a college girl in overalls and a shaved head and he couldn’t have been nicer. |
| I was a big fan of the writer Jeffrey Archer until I went to a reading and met him in person. Incredibly pompous (and he ended up going to jail a few years after that). Haven't read any of his books since. |
Oprah, too. |
| We need more names, folks. |
Noooo! |
|
Am I the only one who doesn't have strong opinions of people I've never met?
Of course there are actors, writers and musicians I love, but I don't assume any of them would be pleasant or unpleasant in person. |
| I know I'm not supposed to talk I'll of the Des but tom Clancy was really nasty and rude. |
| Talk I'll of the dead. Sorry my phones stupid. |

More of minor celebs, but if you've been a fan of Bravo for over a decade you'll know:
Brad Goreski - the rumor about Canadians being nice is true - he was so sweet Gary Janette - only wanted to talk to "pretty people". I'm ugly. and he wouldn't give me the time of day. Andy Cohen - depends when you get him, even if he's out without his kids (doesn't want to be approached when with them) Kelly Ripa - lovely Mark Consuelo - even more lovely than his wife |
