There are the absolute best! A lot of work to make, but so worth it!

The smitten kitchen recipe is better than any bakery italian rainbow cookies/7 layer cookies I’ve ever had.

I've made these before. But they don't seem to be worth the effort and are never very popular in a cookie spread so I stopped making them.

We love forgotten cookies too... According to my DS, these are Santa's favorite cookies! We also love gingerbread cookie cutouts with chocolate chips.

I had to look up forgotten cookies. I’d never heard of them. I don’t know that they’re my favorite, but it’s just not Christmas without a good cut out, decorated sugar cookie. My grandma used to make kiffles that were amazing and I like making rum balls.

I like all of them! Gingerbread cookies are high on my list but I also love the peanut butter with Hershey’s kisses ones. And also the version I made a few years ago when my mother sent me novelty mint white chocolate kisses and I put them on top of soft chocolate cookies.

I made forgotten cookies tonight. They stay in the oven turned off all night. The house smells so good!
