| I'm not a Christmas cookie baker but my favorite are the Italian rainbow cookies. |

I'm not a big cookie person, but these are my favorites:
Chocolate Crinkles ½ Cup Vegetable Oil 4 sq. Unsweetened chocolate (4 oz.) melted 2 cups granulated sugar 4 eggs 2 tsp vanilla 2 cups Flour 2 tsp baking powder ½ tsp salt 1 cup Confectioner’s sugar Mix oil, chocolate and sugar. Blend in one egg at a time until well mixed. Add vanilla. Sift the dry ingredients into the oil mixture. Chill several hours, or overnight. Heat Oven to 350. Drop teaspoonfuls of dough into the sugar. Roll in sugar, and shape into balls. Place about 2” apart on greased baking sheet. Bake 8-10 minutes. Do not overbake. |

Same. Follow up is little spritz cookies with sugar crystals on top. |
| Glazed sugar cookies |

Not sure if you mean home made, but Pfefferneuse (some seem better quality than other) are delicious classics.

| Snickerdoodles |
| I have always loved Forgotten Cookies, mainly because my grandmother used to say she made them especially for me. Also Thimble cookies (also called Thumbprints) with raspberry or cranberry jam. |
These are my least favorite |

+1 Favorite classic is the sugar cookie from my mom's recipe with this mysterious shape (santa with a sack) slightly too brown on just one side

There are the absolute best! A lot of work to make, but so worth it! |
