They've all jumped significantly from 2020. |

This. There are still a lot of kids all in on the Southern rah rah but if that isn’t their thing it seems like Big Ten schools like Minnesota, Indiana, and Michigan State are becoming more popular now. University of Michigan was always popular but it’s getting even crazier and Wisconsin has been popular for a few years. |
I’m curious why Michigan State isn’t more popular. According to USNWR it’s ranked 60th. 88% acceptance rate. |
This is not even remotely true. The top 100 - 150 schools have higher applications and the rest are seeing significant declines. There are 3 MM fewer college students today vs 10 years ago. There are many schools that are 30-40% smaller today…WVU is a relatively local example. |
They've had some bad press over the last several years. |

Colorado and Colorado State University of Charleston for those kids who aren't academically inclined Baylor and SMU (medicine and business, respectively) |
Two went from our W high school last year. |
| Purdue and UIUC for engineering and CS |
Those have landed. Not up and coming. Thought whomever said Utah is right for engineering/CS. University of Oregon also gaining in popularity (and way better weather than Minnesota). San Diego State also on the rise. |
| I hear UVA is emerging from regional to national status |
| Anywhere south and west is up. Southern flagships, Colorado and Oregon state schools, and Northwest SLACs in particular. |
Tell me you've never spent a winter in Eugene without telling me you've never spent a winter in Eugene. |
+1 Clemson and South Carolina are no longer safeties. |
