Is great wolf lodge cold in winter?

The water in the pool area is warm and the pool area itself is pretty warm as well but there were some drafty areas near the wave pool and near the taller slides that you didn’t need a raft to ride. I think this is probably owing to their proximity to the doors that lead out into the lobby, it brings in more drafty lobby air conditioned air. But the water itself was nice.

We were also just there and I agree. I was cold when out of the water in some parts near the doors. I’d probably get a wet suit — a lot of kids were wearing them. I would definitely not plan to eat at the snack bar inside the waterpark (which is right by the doors) unless she’ll be completely dry.

We had a great time. It was nice to be there when everything is pretty new.

The Perryville lodge seems to be chilly by the lobby doors so I recommend you sit elsewhere. The wave and baby pools were the warmest when we went, and my 3-year old who also gets cranky when cold had no complaints. If your child is very sensitive I do recommend a wet suit.
