SSL on report cards

My middle schooler completed the 75 H requirement, received the Certificate this spring. Has correct logs on Parent Vue. On the report card, it says 63H remaining, so not about hours being logged or not. I contacted the SSL coordinator and they don’t know why too.

Yeah, getting pics is good. Also checking your kid's binder/backpack for SSL forms that didn't get turned in is a good idea, too.

I don't want to micromanage my kid. This is a sure sign they will struggle in college.

I just looked at DC report card for SSL hours and it listed 94 which is correct. Are you sure they logged your child's hours?

Our MS report card today said 0, but parent vue is correct.

This just popped up in my email:

We learned from the MCPS SSL office that there was a reporting issue between Synergy and report cards, and SSL hours were reflected inaccurately, or not at all, on many middle school student report cards throughout the county. If a student asks you about it, please let them know that if they check Student Vue, the correct hours will be shown there. It was only an issue with the report cards and the county is working on figuring out, and fixing, this issue.

OP- came to share this email too. Well, I guess it wasn’t just a me issue. However, at least for my DS, the hours recorded in ParentVUE are still incorrect.
