SSL on report cards

Should the SSL portion of the report card show how many hours they have earned in total? My DS’ says:

Required 75. Earned 0. Remaining 0.

It doesn’t say how many they actually have earned in total. He should have around 80 hours. Am I missing something or is there a mistake in the reporting?

Is your son in middle school? My daughter does not have her earned hours also.

My high schooler’s report card shows her SSL hours correctly, but my middle schooler’s says 0 hours. Maybe it’s a MS thing.

Yes, my son is in MS.

My middle schooler’s report card shows SSL hours earned. It should be on there unless they were maybe just submitted this quarter. I’d photograph each of the sheets before handing in for your records.

My MS kid's report card says 0, but I can see the actual amount if I go into course history on ParentVue.

Op here I just went into course history and those numbers don’t match the report card at all and it shows less hours than what he has earned, by a lot! I have never photographed the hours, but I will start to do so.

Op here I just went into course history and those numbers don’t match the report card at all and it shows less hours than what he has earned, by a lot! I have never photographed the hours, but I will start to do so.

If you click on the the "Detail" button on course history, you can see exactly which activities the SSL hours are for. Might help you sort out which ones are missing.

So I think this is just a "me" issue. The "detail" information is what was reflected in last June's report card. I don't see his new hours, even though the current report card says 0 remaining (and he's more than done with them). I will check with the counselor and I hope they kept the SSL papers.

Wasn't the last SSL reporting deadline in September for summer hours? So anything since then may not be in the system or showing yet.

Yeah, getting pics is good. Also checking your kid's binder/backpack for SSL forms that didn't get turned in is a good idea, too.
