Raskin has always been an annoying preener and generally obnoxious person. Has nothing to do with anything that he’s “been through”.
Sticking with local politics, probably the most generally well liked local Montgomery County politician is Gabe Albornoz. For DC, it is probably Christina Henderson. |

No longer in office, but I know Gerry Hyland personally and he is just the sweetest guy. We were talking about campaigning/canvassing the other night, and he said he loved knocking doors when he was campaigning and even loved talking to people on the other side.
I also had a personal relationship with Barbara Favola-she came to my wedding reception. She was very good to me. She has a very fiesty personality, and I loved her for it |

I second Gabe Albornoz in MoCo.
He is a pleasure to work with. Not all MoCo politicians are. |
Henderson is a bit disappointing. Not that bright. |
You are answering a different question. For DC Council she is probably the most well liked, if only because she’s the least hated. |
Albornoz is rare in MoCo because he’s level headed, calm and generally very agreeable. Everyone else in MoCo politics seems to suffer from a serious personality defect by comparison, except maybe luedtke who is very professional but suffers from the nepotism stigma. |

Aruna Miller is nice.
Legacy media is in love with Jamie Raskin which explains a lot. He is cannot relate nor does he meet with the common man in his constituency. |
False |
| Governor Glenn Youngkin. |
He was my law school professor. He was wonderful. |
Why can't she be likable? Because she is Black? Go back to your exburbs. |
| DC’s Anita Bonds. She is not innovative but she is a very nice person who takes her at-large council responsibilities seriously. She shows up and listens - something that some Ward councimenbers don’t do nearly as much. |
| Don’t get Robert White’s choice of Andy Shallal as his campaign manager? |
| Raskin and Alsobrooks |
| Wes Moore is really nice. |
