Air fryer and buzzing electric panel

I would call and electrician because I don’t mess with electrical. But I can afford it. If money is tight I would just unplug it and try not to use that circuit.

I got one during a kitchen renovation, so I was using it in the basement - quickly found that only certain circuits in our house could handle it, and those only when I was running nothing else on that line. I blew breakers several times sorting it out. Now that it's in my kitchen on a dedicated breaker, it's fine.

So, I'd try a different circuit before anything else.

Is this a old house? Our house built in 2019 doesn't have this issue. This is why I only buy new homes

Some people may have a more nuanced approach to home buying than you, for a variety of reasons. Anyway, enjoy your shiny new house.

Lol, OK. Must be nice to not live in the DMV. You know older homes can have upgraded electrical systems, right? And you know newer homes can have barely to code electrical systems, right? So maybe the age of the home has nothing to do with this, Miss I Only Buy New Homes.

we live in mclean

Sorry, didn't realize this was just a humblebrag about your wealth.

OP here. Yes, I’m no longer using the air fryer until an electrician has checked the circuit (incidentally, that outlet has a GFCI so I’m surprised it didn’t trip). The only stuff on the outlet is the phone and boombox.
