Youngkin is giving you the surplus Northam/Democrats created. Let's see if Virginia voters can keep that straight.

No it's the Democrats who overtaxed and by law they can't keep it unless the change the entire budget so legally they have to give it back so it's from being over taxed by the Democrats lets see if voters can keep that straight!!!!

I'm pretty happy with it, so I assume that was the reaction they wanted right before the election.

Yup. Instead of using it for something useful - schools - he uses it to buy votes.

He should have used it to give school teachers a raise.

Do you seriously not realize that teacher salaries are set by the localities they are employed by and not the state?

Lol no. Not all of us care if your brats get educated or not. Frankly if you cared you'd be sending them to private school not Va. state public schools anyway.

The surplus is from the gains in business development under Democrats. Youngkin has seen a net loss of businesses so the surplus won't be there after him.

Do you seriously not realize that the state provides some funding to schools and if it fails to do that, it affects the overall school budget including the availability to give teachers raises?

Is it income capped like everything else? We never saw a penny of stimulus or child tax credits.
