No, the squash on fire guy is not the same as play squash guy. Both are bad.

Is that the guy who looks like Rod Stewart? He’s been nice the few times we’ve been to SoF. Didn’t realize he has a nasty side

Yes

The rod stewart guy is honest and nice. It’s the little British guy that has a nasty side. I’ve seen him make multiple kids cry, and he’s also nasty to parents. I don’t know of any good options bc they now run St James squash. It’s too bad bc SoF has some great, kind instructors, but I can’t deal with the head of it.

Springhill Rec has racquetball courts, not squash courts. Unless they’ve converted them lately, which I’m not aware of. Racquetball courts have different dimensions, markings and no tin.

Totally agreed. They lied all the time . Shameless despicable people

What happened ?

They would tell every beautiful thing to make you sign up for the contract. After that, they became totally different people. Every promise they made was never fulfilled. Late, use junior coach to substitute for senior coach, change schedule constantly, just like op indicated. And they would keep asking you to sign up for next bigger package. Just check their court before you sign up. See how they treat kids. Yelling at kids is so common..oh boy

My DD took lessons from her a while ago, and she has been and I think still is the Coach for the Whitman squash team (club sport). My DD had a good experience (and I took some adult lessons, although she delegated that to other people after the first lesson). She can be a little pushy about using squash as a path to college scholarships.

99% of kids playing squash are doing it as a path to college scholarships.

Squash doesn’t really give out scholarships. More to get into college but mostly LACs and Ivies.
