I watched the big east final. Not at all impressed by Georgetown. I’m not sure they connected more than 2 or 3 passes in a row the entire game. So different than ACC games I’ve seen.

And even if you did qualify for your conference tournament - you likely wont get into the NCAA Tourny. Lots and lots of teams in the top of their conference not going to the NCAA tourny.

This is so hard on teams that have had an incredible year, if you don't win your conference title - no spot in NCAA tournament. Ends up being the same old teams that get the bids.

That is pretty much American girl and women soccer from u9 to the national team.

Didn’t they do the same to win it over UNC? UNC is the gold standard for US women’s soccer style of play. Glad to see them lose.

UNC lost to UCLA after going up 2 goals in the final last year. So same team but different year
