I ride that bus, and my kid does too!

There has been 2 stabbings in 2 years on that bus. So while it’s unlikely that you or your kid will be stabbed on that bus, odds are that once a year someone will be.

With lawlessness and violence increasing in this city everyday, I would expect the rate of stabbings like this to rise, too.

My exact thoughts as I wait for a bus

This is horrible and scary but kids ride every bus route.

I’m going to guess that the victim made the dumb mistake of getting on a bus with someone who was just released from PIW or staying at the Idaho Ave shelter.

Matt Frumin needs to make it a priority to get PIA out of its current location near any number of schools. Ideally PIA should relocate inside the fenced compound of the DC jail. It’s unconscionable that DC houses violent, psychotic offenders in a facility with barely any security.

No sh*t but this hits close to home not to mention it is the second stabbing on that line in a year. Save your freaking sanctimoniousness for someone else who cares about your performative bs.

Matt Frumin is not going to save us from the criminals. His preferred policies will bring more of this to Ward 3. He’s literally a danger to Ward 3 and is completely unaware.

But then we would lose the naked guy in the middle of Wisconsin Ave. Local color!

A very clear wanted photo has been released. This is why everyone should put private cameras on their homes using the DC camera reimbursal program. Clear images can only help to solve crime.

The articles said they got into an altercation. A woman was quoted as saying she got off the bus early as it was obvious the guy was “off.”

I really wish people would call 311 when they see someone who is 'off'. So many are chronic homeless, substance, mentally ill... And yes, they attack and kill. If your instinct is to get away, call in a wellness check once you are in safety.

The "you're statistically unlikely to be the victim of a crime" denier is second only to the "it was worse in the 90s" denier. And I guarantee the only people who say these things are extremely privileged, extremely mediocre white people.
