Saturday Daytime Stabbing On 33 Bus In Georgetown (Wisconsin Ave. NW)

Lots of kids ride the 33, tell them to be alert and maybe sit by the door in case something pops off? Maybe gel pepper spray?

Cop was looking at camera footage on a laptop, the new buses have great CCTV to see what happened after the fact. We really need more/any? WMATA police riding buses and trains.

I’m going to guess that the victim made the dumb mistake of getting on a bus with someone who was just released from PIW or staying at the Idaho Ave shelter.

There has been a lot of recent stabbings around the Cleveland Park Giant.

There was even a prior stabbing on the 33 just last year.

It’s hard not to draw conclusions that they are linked to PIW, the shelter and/or voucher residents in nearby apartments.
