Ditto. I stop there after a rough day at the dentist when I need a milkshake but that's it. |

hypocrisy
noun hy·poc·ri·sy hi-ˈpä-krə-sē 1: a feigning to be what one is not or to believe what one does not : behavior that contradicts what one claims to believe or feel |
| I do not boycott chik fil a because I think if i scrutinized most companies I do business with, they’d all have some problematic aspects in their practices and/or leadership. So if I were being consistent I’d have to boycott almost everyone. And maybe I should. But I work full time and can’t dedicate the time to figuring out how to live off the grid. |
This is a BIG part of the appeal to me and other adults I know. The staff are polite, look you in the eye, often visit your table if eating inside to ask if you need a drink refill or anything else. And ordering kiosk (like at McDonald's). Your order is taken by an actual human, who is usually smiling and making you feel welcome. |
| I'd love to go, but I hate waffle fries, and a chicken sandwich without fries isn't worth it for me. |
Give that bot a waffle fry. Is this advertising for CFA? DCUM owne driving engagement for ad views? This is nonsense. |
| Fast food is the dumbest form of political activism. |
My child works at CFA. Whenever he wears hisuniform out after work to retail stores, managers will seek him out to ask if interested in working for their business. He says when new businesses start opening chains up in the area, those managers try to sneak business cards to the staff when ordering food. As college freshman, he just landed a very sweet, high paying internship, at an international company. During interviews they mentioned how CFA teaches leadership skills. . |
| I’m an elder millennial. Chick-fil-a has completely won me over based on their customer service and clean restaurants, in addition to above average fast food taste. I don’t eat much fast food at all but I’ll go out of my way to stop at Chick-fil-a over McDonalds on a road trip (unless it’s a Sunday). |
|
I'm not a fan of Chick-fil-A's food. It's my understanding that people go there because they do like their food and the service is efficient and friendly.
Too much is made of activism. |
This. We are a 2 mom family and get chick fila about once/twice a month. The food is better quality than other fast food. I’m generation X but I think people across the board care more about quality now. |
|
There are 50+ toxic chemicals in Chick-fil-A, Popeyes, KFC that causes people to crave that food.
Do you know why KFC is no longer called Kentucky Fried Chicken ? Because they were sued and admitted the chicken they use is not chicken.
|
No, that's not why they started going by "KFC". It was purely marketing to remove the "Fried" part. |
Chick-Fil-A as a corporation stopped donating money to anti-marriage equality causes in 2019. But Dan Cathy increased donations, cloaking them under The National Christian Charitable Foundation. Eat there/don't eat there, it's up to the individual. People seem to like their processed food and how the employees are trained. But some portion of what you spend there does go to organizations set out to help dismantle same-sex marriage. |
Stuart MacKenzie, is that you?
