How many direct flights exist anymore? I'd prefer non-stop when traveling, but I remember direct flights as well and those were nice because you could stay on the plane. The last one I was on was decades ago, I figured they were a relic of the past

Does SW still have them?

Yes. Taking one BWI-DEN-PDX. Same plane, same flight number, at the gate in Denver for 40 minutes.

Year round same airlines and airports to SAV.

United may have run this flight in the past seasonally, but right now it is not on their schedule at all. You can confirm on Google Flights.

That is why is it depending on time of year they generally stop that flight middle to end of September

I looked at the entire schedule (you can search month by month on Google Flights). There is no time in which it restarts. It has been completely removed from the schedule.

The question was if Southwest still operates direct flights which make a stop but continue as the same flight, so a passenger doesn't have to get off to continue to the next destination. The answer is yes.
