| Get off the internet and take her to urgent care or the ER. |

I had arm pain after a vaccination. When I moved my arm around a lot, the movement helped the arm feel better. I learned that from the person giving me the shot and have done it ever since.
Maybe she can lie on her back and move her leg or point and flex her toes? |

I am PP. is it that she can’t walk at all? Or is it that it hurts to walk??
If she really can’t walk, ER. |
| Try Epsom salts on a warm washcloth on the area where she got her shots. |
This you gotta move the area a lot to help with the pain. |
| Is it that she truly can't walk, or does she not want to because it hurts? If she really cannot walk, take her to the ER. |
|
Of course she does not WANT to walk when
It’s sore , if Mom is willing to carry her. That’s different than literally not being able to walk. |
| My 3 year old was kind of limping last year after her shot and said she couldn't walk. I gave her pain meds and she was better in the morning. I was very clear with her about the distinction between hurts to walk and can't walk and she clarified it was the former, but it was stressful. I hope all is well with your child soon! |
+1 She actually needs to walk more to work it out. You might also try a warm bath to help relax the muscles. My kid had this once with the chicken pox vaccine, I think. Vaccines can cause soreness, and it can be worse if they are tense, squirmy, etc. If it's not better in a day check with the ped. |
| Absolutely need to have pediatrician paged off hours |
|
OP here. She can walk but doesn’t want to because it hurts. If she had lost use of her legs I would be at the ER, of course.
Thx to PPs mentioning movement and a bath, good idea for the morning. |
| It is that damn flu shot. My arm is dead after it. Heating pad and a bath will help. |
🙄 so she’s sore... Tylenol and sleep it off. The dramatics- apples doesn’t fall far. |
