Thanks for sharing this! I grew up in Minnesota and this is the mindset there, too. It makes a huge difference.

Yes, this. Plus I’m in my luteal phase, DH is traveling so I’m home by myself, and my FOO has been going through a stressful situation.

Agree DST is the problem. Otherwise, loving the cooler weather!

Yes. Love spring- watching the days getting longer and the build up to summer. Fall reminds me winter is coming and the two months I hate the most January and February.

When it gets dark earlier, I panic over the day ending and not getting enough tasks done. Always feel like I should be getting ready to go to bed.

By mid January at least the days will start getting noticeably a little longer, so I will look forward to that, even though January and February are the coldest months in DC.
