Anyone feeling a little down with the change of seasons?

I absolutely love fall, and prefer it to summer, but for some reason I’m feeling a bit low and down, which isn’t like myself; I’m usually energized. Anyone else?

Uh, no. So happy with the cooler temps. Sorry you're feeling down though.

A bit. Fall can feel energizing, but I love Spring and Summer. Also, Seasonal Affective Disorder is a real thing. Less sunlight, shorter days, cooler temperatures, less time outdoors, less exercise— all of those things can dim things for people like me who are sensitive to those kinds of factors.

Yup. I'm a little further south and I feel like we went from oppressive heat to short days and "cold" weather. I need to get out for a walk at lunch time and be in the sun I think.

This happens to me! I love the cooler weather but fall has a sort of melancholy tone to it. It will get better!

This is when I come alive. I sleep better, have more energy, and my mood totally improves. I feel a strong feeling of relief when the weather turns like it has recently.

I’ve felt especially down these days, almost despondent. The shorter days make me so sad.

That would be me. I only love spring + summer. I hate cold weather, wearing extra clothes and when it gets dark out earlier at night.

Get one of those uv therapy lights and turn it on for an hour in the morning. My therapist recommended it. It doesn't necessarily make me feel better mood wise, but I don't feel quite as tired and listless when I use it.

Try to get outside in the morning every day. It really helps.

Fall can be depressing. It’s pretty but that’s short lived. The rest is short days, cold, dark, prelude to winter, exhausted by 6pm, looming holidays etc

The changing season f***s me UP. Every day as the sun sets I feel an overwhelming sense of dread and foreboding.

This is me too. I find sunny spots to sit in and added my vitamin D back in.
