I was finally able to participate / run in this race after a lingering injury had me out for two years. It was so much fun! |
You listed a few things, not a couple. Calling someone slow as F uck is belittling someone that you disagree with rather than engaging in the discussion. But, I'm pretty sure I'm faster than you. When was the last time you BQd, ass hole? |
NP - wearing earbuds/headphones is my biggest pet peeve during road races. I sort of think of it as cheating, probably a holdover from XC and treating races as actual races. But many runners who wear them aren't paying attention to their surroundings. I've been nearly tripped many times by someone fiddling with their playlist or whatever. To me, being in a road race is exciting enough. I get that I'm in the small minority. |
+1. I am a fast runner (BQ many times) with lots (20 years) of race experience. Tripping over cups isn’t a thing. I do agree with PP about ear buds. I get why people like them, but it makes you less aware of your surroundings. I have been cut off by many spaced out people with ear buds. |
