[/quote] NP - wearing earbuds/headphones is my biggest pet peeve during road races. I sort of think of it as cheating, probably a holdover from XC and treating races as actual races. But many runners who wear them aren't paying attention to their surroundings. I've been nearly tripped many times by someone fiddling with their playlist or whatever. To me, being in a road race is exciting enough. I get that I'm in the small minority.[/quote]
