It's not the nicest school but if your child is athletic and/or wealthy they will have an easier time. I'd say half of our parent friends say their child thinks it is okay and half say their children hate it.
I think the larger problem at the school is teachers. There are some that are terrible and play favorites, favoring the more "popular" kids and who are biased in many different ways. |

It used to be three. The county made them cut it to two, so the teams are much bigger. Hopefully they are coping with the change. |

| OP if you can get Erika Huck as counselor you're on a win. Both my kids were at Pyle, both very quiet. It's crowded and busy but your kid will get thru. |

| Isn't this true of middle schools in general? Middle school sucks all around. It's always sucked unless you go through puberty early and/or one of the popular ones. Just find your people and get through it. |
