Why just Senators? Why not staff as well? Answer: Because this is solely for Fetterman. A rule change for one Senator because he refuses to follow the dress code. |
Yeah, why is it considered the Fetterman Rule and not the Sinema Rule? |
|
I don't care what anyone wears or even who they tug on their own time as long as they are not hypocrites. I propose requiring everyone wear white boots tho:

Somebody deserves an apology:

Oh please, Fetterman is the biggest offender in Congress and is the one pushing for rules to allow him to look like a bum: https://www.axios.com/2023/09/17/senate-drops-dress-code-schumer Democrats are literally turning Congress into Idiocracy. |
Good one! I always love that pic of Ol' Puddin' Fingers! |
Imagine caring at all what people wear in Congress as if it affects their ability to do their jobs in any way whatsoever. |
Oh please. Why have any standards at all. Doctors should just roll into meeting their patients with basketball jersies and sandals. Let's just keep degrading our standards and let people do whatever they want rather than demand more of our representatives of our country and holding them to higher standards with their appearance. How about military personnel wear whatever they want next. Wearing a uniform vs basketball shorts shouldn't matter for pulling a gun trigger too. You are a slovenly, lazy bum. |
| Another step down into lunacy. |
Are you saying a doctor can’t provide effective care unless they’re wearing a tuxedo? |
|
I dunno. I'm fine with relaxing the standards of dress code if it means a functioning government and democracy, both of which we have under Democrats. But please, making sure everyone is wearing a suit is clearly the most pressing concern facing the Republic. The Nazis looked pretty good in their uniforms too. |
Omg did he wear his wife’s boots?? |
she’s not a senator |
They don't actually care. I'll give you one guess at how many breathless segments Fox News has aired about Jim Jordan consistently violating the House dress code by refusing to ever wear a jacket. |
