Spent 2 weeks in Europe family of 3 - apartment/hotels, car rental and airfare was $5000. Went pre-high season so airline tickets were cheaper, prepaid hotel got a discount, only needed a car for 5 days out of the 2 weeks. Stayed in apartment hotels so purchased foods for breakfast and lunch ate out dinners only. Entertainment, other transportation we figured were normal day to day expenses. Some days we just enjoyed free outdoor gardens with a picnic lunch.

19:29 - I did the math and holy s*&% you are right!

Deer Valley, 7 nights, 6 days of ski rental for 2 adults, 1 child + 6 days of childcare for 2 kids including ski lessons for 1 kid + slopeside 2 BR condo (only $1255, not bad) + airfare for 4 ($1216) not including car rental and food is $6459!
