High school. 40 min in the AM and 50ish min in the afternoon. We have an amazing carpool!

High school is a 10-minute drive but our K-8 was 25 minutes.

~6 minutes. But the 3x/week commute to an extracurricular is 40 minutes there and 25 minutes back, so it evens out.
I rode a school bus to public school for 45 minutes each way daily for 12 years (K-11 until I had a car), so whatever guilt I feel over the long activity commute is alleviated by knowing it’s still less time in a vehicle than that. |
20 minutes. Not horrible but not great.
Our K-8 is a 10 minute drive away.
10 minute drive. Sidwell 10th grade.
6th grader -- 15 min bus ride. 4th grader -- 15 min walk.
We are on the shore and have a 15 minute boat ride. On the way back the wife and I stop and have breakfast and coffee at a great little cafe right on the deck. Fun times!
PK and 4th - 20 min drive. Last year we had a 30-45 min drive and that extra time was horrid. The 20 min feels amazing in comparison. Having done the 30+ min commute, I wouldn't recommend it unless you live in a place where there are zero options but to drive.
Kindergarten. 25 minutes in the morning, and 35-40 minutes in the afternoon. But going at prime time for traffic both ways.
